MIFC stands for Malaysia International Firework Competition. This year is the second year and it was held in Putrajaya, near Putrajaya International Convention Centre to be exact. I was fortunate to attent the last day of the event which happen on the 29th of August 2008.

This is my first time shooting firework and i had little ‘know how’ in shooting firework. With that, i’ll try to cramp out my tiny little brain with much information. An article by Steven Leong title ‘Technique : How to Shoot Fireworks‘ give some insight for a newbie like me.

Yea, it was a knowlegable outing for me. For me location is an important factor to take beautiful fireworks photos. I wasn’t in a good location that night. Maybe better luck next year.
