After the solemnization ceremony run smoothly, both family were ready to attend the reception ceremony that held in the afternoon in the same day. After a quick rest, their back into the big day’s agenda. Bride were busy in the room doing make up while the groom busy preparing to make sure everything will run smoothly.

At about 2.00 o’clock in the afternoon, the ceremony starts as Fitri approaching Hawa house while being acompany by ‘Kompang’ and family members. Acara berarak namanya. And then they (both Fitri & Hawa) were united. There were silat, merenjis, makan beradat and acara memotong pulut kuning.

The ceremony run smoothly as planned. Tetamu datang tak putus-putus. The ceremony filled with laughter, smiles and happy. Saudara mara, jiran tetangga, rakan taulan, semua ada. The weather were good thought out the event, but at the end, ada hujan renjai-renjai sket.

And we did had a little fun while waiting for rain to stop, before we can proceed to an outdoor shoot. I’ll share the fun of the outdoor shoot in my next entry. Stay tune! =)

This is the first entry for Fitri & Hawa’s lovely day. It’s for the solemnization which happen earlier in the morning. I woke up a little early that day to drive to Muar and arrive there at about 8am. Not a usual morning for me, but it’s great to be part of the great day. =)

Fitri & Hawa were my college friends back in UTM.  I believe Fitri and Hawa meet when they were in UTMP. Dah lama juga tu. Hehe. Lets cut things short, the solemnization when pretty much well. With sekali lafaz, Fitri and Hawa are legally pronounce husband and wife. With family members surrounding the events, laughter, smiles, and tears were shared. Warm and intimate. Hehe. Fitri and Hawa, congrats!

Tone and color are preferences from the bride, hope they’ll love it =)

MxPx All Stars did rejuvenate the gigheads that came to Number One Cafe last Friday, 11 of December 2009. I believe this is their first time performing in Malaysia. MxPx All Stars’ line up is not the original lineup for the band but it is not also a different faces to the band as Kris Roe, from The Ataris met MxPx when both bands began their first tours together in 1996. While Chris Wilson from The Summer Obsession, had been filling up Yuri Ruley in numerous dates before.

Thanks to the organizer, Gegey who brought them to Malaysia after their finished touring Japan. Gegey this year also had been bringing lots of international act to the local scene. Congrats to them. Hope next year will be a good year to Gegey.

With their Left Coast Punk EP released, MxPx did came  to Malaysia without empty handed, promising newer stuff to the Malaysian fans. The show started with few local bands like Dichi Michi, Hello is this the band and One Buck Short. And after that, MxPx take the stage and performing for about (more less) 2 hours.

It was definitely a good show i presume as the crowd done a lot of stage diving towards the end of the set. After that, Pee Wee Gaskin take the stage to end the night. The show end, everyone happy.
